28th CONVENTION Labor Day Weekend
Purchased in 1967 and incorporated in 1974, Polacak was named for a region in Belarus from where many Greater Cleveland Belarusan Americans called home. These proud immigrants became business owners, worked as tradesman or in factories around Cleveland, Ohio. Collectively, they raised the necessary funds to create and build a Community Center to preserve and further their Belarusan heritage, language and culture. This website is dedicated to all of our members, past, present and future, which had and still have the vision, dedication and perseverance to advance the cause of Belarusan history, language, heritage and culture. Again, thank you for visiting www.Polacak.org the premiere Belarusan American Community Center in North America.
